Start of my fabrication and need some opinions

I started working on my dodge ram dash bezel to open it up from a 1.5din to a double din headunit (for now until i decide if i want a comp or not...or if i scratch build a sheetmetal dash). I used a metra kit for a late model chevy and im still trying to decide what i sould do with it.

you can see in the first picture how well it fits the space and that i currently have the sides glued in place with the 2 part plastic epoxy from loctite. my question is if it would look good if i keep the side to side curve of the bezel or if i should level it out with the rest of the dash bezel? you can see it in the second and third pics, and yes i know the dash somewhat points the headunit down but the screen angles nicely so i can get away with it. I am waiting on my duramix gun and 4040 before i fill in the other openings on top and bottom and behind, im then going to fill it with some fibertec from evercoat and make it purrdy for a gloss black single stage paint.

i filled the rest with some duramix 4040 and i can already see a problem with my headunit not following the coutour of the bezel but im gonna fix it by wrapping the hu in painters tape and then filling over it from the front and then removing the hu from the rear to finish sanding it.

Well I dont see any picturesx for some reason, but i really would like to. How did this turn out? I have a 97 Ram 1500 and I need to change mine to a double din as well and i am looking for ideas on how to do the bezel trim.
