Is wood ok?
I've seen alot of people make their boxes out of wood... i assume the answer to this is... YES..
My plan.. take my celeron/board outta my old gateway cut the computer case up, so that the board is stilll mounted to the sheetmetal and then attach this to my partical board...
See any problems with this? The board will the be covered with carpet on opposite side...

No problem with using wood. I used plywood to make my enclosre that holds the mobo, hd, ps. Wrapped it wiht carpet and it looks great.
