    it always freaks me out to see that engine running the width of the car instead of the length .

    Thanks everybody,

    great response, my current project is a Ford Laser Tx3, full body kit, and the works...

    but my second project will be the hardest, ive got myself a 77 RA23 Celica, and the Roof is coming off.... im looking at building a roadster style, two seats and the wind in my hair...

    anyways, thanks for your help

    i'm assuming you're goin rollcage to reinforce the body after the roof is off? As for the fiberglass engine cover, i personally wouldn't recommend doing it primarily because of heat dissepation. Having the cover above the motor would catch alot of the heat and make your engine run a LOT hotter....




    oh, btw, i'm used to having a transversely mount engine as well
