Guys I keep on at them but correspondance is few and far between, so I dont want to post up here every time I chase them. Anyway, I had this mail this morning:
Got the sample back. I'm promised that they would be done today/tomorrow.
Guys Iv got the bezels and they look fcuking mint!
There are two of them however where the bead blast (chamfered) face has been slightly grazed with the mop tool, so these are going back tonight to be refinished. I will try my hardest to get the others out today!!
- Forget headunits, its all about CarPCs -
Helix 5ch Amp @1850w
Helix 17cm Component speakers x 2
Audiobahn 12" Sub @400w RMS
Who's bezels are delayed?
Post office bekons in T-minus 45 minutes. The only unlucky people are myself and OurDirtyToo, as it is bezel type 4 and 7 that have the marks on them. I picked OurDirtyToo as he was the last person in for that bezel type, so I thought this was the fairest way of doing things. I thought I'd take one for the team and let Jettamaster have the good type 7 one in front of me, cos thats jus the sort of guy I am
They are on there way to you now guys!!
You lucky guys in the UK wil have these pre-noon tomorrow as I sent them Special Delivery.
For our friends across the pond, I sent them internation Singed for for you guys in Canada, and Airsure to those of you in the US. Royal Mail aim for 5 working days delivery time. I have sent you all the tracking reference numbers, the internation services acan be tracked upto the point they leave the UK. For details see www.royalmail.com
This idea is amazing and if I had R32 trim i'd go for it, but to be honest from the pics in the previous post it doesn't look like the bezels are the same width as the ac control trim (just from the photos it looks like there's 1mm difference). This will show up when installed because there's only a very small gap normally.
Is it just the pictures or are thy actually a bit wider?
The gaps arent a problem, see pic in first post for one made to the same spec installed. they look sloppy in the pics that I took as everything was just resting in the radio cage. For what it costs and the difference it makes, get yourself the alu trim and buy one of these!
