yeah and it cracks for no reason in temperature changes, if it was infact that strong nobody would bother matting as well

my name has everything to do with fiberglassing... are you new at it??? Lax is a type of weave for the fiberglass matting and Playa... is just playa, 8513 is the correct ratio you should be using resin to hardner and of course there is that 2 missing, that's all unimportant, it depends on how hot you want to mix the fiberglass. the hotter, the quicker it cures, etc etc.

Now why is his name SexySamSam?

It's not meant to be the only layer. It's used to get an initial shape. It's also commonly used in high end audio install shops all over the place.

hell, i not only learned how to fiberglass with fleece, i still to this day use it. It's great to use to conform to certain areas, then you can build strength with matting to get the rigidity that you need

fleece just seem's easier and it conforms to the shape the best with out having to worry about strips falling off.

?? the strips don't fall off when they get slightly resined.... even a small amount of resin will make it stick, when it's completely coated you can't even tell its' there...

Pkay, so we tryed to coat the fleece in resin but the elmers glue can suck my dick, it all came off so we then went to matt. We weren't allowed to do it in the garage because his mom said it smelled. It was a little to cold and the gravity took over before it could cure. We put a heat lamp in there and the first layer turn out ok. We are going to finish the inner shell tomorrow.
