I'm not an expert but, Looks good so far.
Hey guys...this is my first time doing anything like this so dont be too nasty. I am mounting an 8" screen in the dash and smoothing the leather look on my center console...at the moment the bottom is almost ready for primer but the screen surround is still only in fibreglass. Let me know what you think and give me any tips to improve it...

One of the best way to learn is making mistakes, But much better when you learn from someone else mistakes
the center console looks pretty close, but keep sanding that bezel. keep it up!
Et ipsa scientia potestas est.

Need to make something? Here are a few ideas.
after you get close, get some filler, and add some resin to it, so it will be like an oil paint, and apply it with the brush, sand again.
if you still have dings, you can go with spray rattle can of filler primer i think it's $5.00 in pep boys, will prime your console spotless

thanks guys...Yev the bezel is only half way there...it will look like the bottom when im done...then ill prime, stop putty, prime and paint with plenty of sanding in between of course...ill get pics up when i do some more
would love to see the outcome!
yeah sorry its been a while but i have just finished my exams for good so im into it now trying to get it done before the w/e. The centre section has been primed and stop puttied and waiting for another sand...ill get pics up with the results.
Not bad for a first timer but it looks like you used duraglass. That stuff is far to hard for fast sanding try using usc Kromate it's ligh and fast sanding, then shoot several coats of prime or feather fill sand and finish with color or choice of cover.
