Got one from them. Very professionally made,, and very OEM looking case. Very pleased with their product.
Has anyone actually used Protocase.com to make a metal enclosure?
I got a quote from them.. it wasn't too bad for a totally custom case.
The only thing I'm not sure on.. I asked for a smaple picture of what a stainless steel case would look like, and they sent me a pic of the raw material before manufacturing.
Any info is appreciated.
Thanks,
-Chris

Protocase does make good cases but not to the standards that my company does. Please allow me to quote a case for you... you will find that I have more design options and will produce a better looking product for less. Stainless Steel can look awsome when polished correctly and most companies have no idea how to really do it right. PM me
your specs and I will get a quote out to you right away.
Thanks!

@ Veritas Forge guy...
Are you the guys that make armor? Cool. Anyway, can you make a carputer case from a 3D model, made in Autodesk Inventor (or drawings)? I would like to have it made of aluminum, ideally something like 14 guage, welded. Would stainless be cheaper? Thanks for all the info.

PM me and we can discuss your design. I can very quickly work off of your drawings as I use AUTOCAD 2005.
Aluminum may be cheaper and yes the cases are welded
and polished out to a #4 finish and include hardware and cooling fans.
Thanks again and hope to hear from you soon.

VeritasForge are right. Stainless steel can be verry pretty if it is polished the right way, but its rly frecking expencive.
If you want a cheap way you should choose aluminium, but stainless is really beautyful![]()
We make aluminum cases as well. But our building proccess makes stainless affordable.
What kind of cases can you make? Specifically are you bound to a certain type? Now IM interested.
