    Cool Custom ipod holder?(new project+pics on page 2)

    hi, my second post

    I wana make a ipod holder. I want to wrap the holder in cloth(so that i dont damage my ipod) what would be the best way to do this? should i use MDF? wood? bondo? fiberglass? any suggestions would help

    mdf is easiest to work with, but fiberglass is the way to go if you're after a curvy sort of shape.

    If you'd really want to build your own Id start here: http://www.nuklear.org/ipod_dock/. After that you can make it look however you want

    use a dock, wrap it in fleece to get curvy looks. fiberglass it, then wrap it in vinyl.
