When the configurator saves the configuration, it save an XML file, along with a content directory that contains other directories and files such as images and fonts. Copy the XML file and not the content directory, you didnt complete the copy, things wont work.
"MDX Program File" is Fusion Control Centre UberMDX.exe
You can save over that file if you really want to, but then you dont have a program any more and nothing will work.
MDX's directory is the entity that contains Fusion Control Centre UberMDX.exe directly (not within another directory). You could have it saved in the default location "C:\Program Files\Fusion Control Centre Uber MDX Edition\MDX" or you can save it to F:\Fluffy Bunny\ it doesnt matter as long as it is where you installed the program to.
If your program installed to F:\Fluffy Bunny\ and you save your configuration file to Z:\Doom, then how will the program in Fluffy Bunny know to look in one of a billion directories on your computer, the internet, your network, your flash drives, everything to find that one specific file on Z:\Doom???. Common sense dictates it will not search the universe for 1 file, it will instead read what it can from the Fluffy Bunny directory.
So save whereever you like, but to get it to work, you better save it where the program is installed to.
