i notice you have rrfusion.ini in your skin file. Thats incorrect. That file should exist in the .dll's folder. Also, do you have .net 2.0 installed. It is a requirement. If these things arent the problem then use use the same skin enclosed in rrfusion's zip file and tell me if it displays your vidpid

in short the vidpid is your usb devices special indentifier.. its a string of letters and numbers and it should display as a label in RR upon pressing the connect button with the example skin.

ok, it does not display the vidpin in rr when i press connect, but when i trun the "kitty of doom??" in the MDX configurator, it finds the vidpid for the brain??
if you're comfortable in the registry .. go to this key
"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Servi ces\WinUSB\Enum"
there should be a key named "0". In this key is the vidpid RRfusion reads from. Can you confirm the key exists? What OS are you running? Any language settings or anything like that?

Ok, I went into the registry and took some screen shots,
Without the Fusion Brain plugged in I got this:
With the Fusion Brain pluuged in I got this:
So judging by the second screen shot I have the "0" key. That means my computer reads the fusion brain correct?
I am running Windows XP service pack 2, only english and all basic settings.
looks good to me. I'm baffled honestly lol. Go into rr.ini and enter debugmode=true, then start RR, let it get to the main menu and close it. Then post whats in your debug.txt file. Are you POSITIVE you have .net 2.0 installed? i really dont see what else could be causing the problem

As sonic says, make sure that you have .Net 2.0 installed and not just .Net 3.5 as it is not inclusive of 2.0.
Thanks,
