do the 3 meter extensions have an affect on sensor readings?
I've got a few temp sensors installed in my car now. one travels the length of the car to the dash to get an inside reading and one travels to the outside of the car for the outdoor reading. The outdoor sensor seems spot on, but the indoor sensor connected to 3 extensions seems to not respond to temp changes accurately. For example, if i let the car sit in the sun it will read accurately once i start the car and drive off.. but as the a/c cools the interior the sensor doesnt report a drastic change in temperature. In my hour ride that started off with a 94F reading after sitting in the sun all day the temp only dropped to 79.. this is while i had the cars climate control set at 72F. It definitely wasnt 79 lol. So do those extensions have some sort of effect on the temp sensor or could it be that sensor is just not calibrated properly?
