Where to mount Thermostat

So after a few months i finally have some time to play with my carpc and that includes installing the thermostat sensors for the fusion brain.

What I wanted to know was were would be the best place to mount a sensor or exterior and interior readings, i have two sensors.

all depands on what you wahnt to mesure. Cars thermostat mesures cooling fluid and opens the pipe to adjust the flow to keep steady temps of the engine.

So basically you should tell us what u want to mesure?

If you want the out side temp, place it in one of the wheel arches...

Looks pretty clear to me that the OP wants to measure inside and outside air temperatures...

Make sure the inside sensor is away from direct HVAC airflow and windows.

It is all up to you where you put them.

if you are putting one of our thermometers outside, then you should encase it in silicone or hot glue or something water proof.

So I should encase the actual little diode in hot glue? is it still going to read proper temperature??
