Are the frequency to voltage boards available for sale? I can't seem to find them on mp3car.com's store.
Thanks for all of the postings ACCLR8N. I'm trying to replace a portion of my dash in a late-80's Pontiac.

yes we have them. We are just starting to transfer our store to mp3car's store. They do not currenty have it listed, but will shortly.
'88 Fiero Formula.
Mostly stock, but we did swap the 2.8L V6 for the Firebird's 3.4L V6.
My plan is to replace the tachometer location with a screen (which will allow me to develop it while still knowing how fast I'm going).
I just finished doing the math for my car for calculating vehicle speed using the VSS...
I just need to find the voltage per Hz number so I can finalize the math...
Basically this is what I got:
Assuming 60MPH...
825 Tire revs per mile x 8 VSS Pulses per tire rev = 6600 pulses per mile
6600 PPMile / 60 (to get pulses per second) = 110 Pulses per second (110Hz)
110Hz x (4.5v / F2V limit freq) (this gives me per Hz voltage) = X voltage going to FB input
X / 60 = Y voltage per MPH
All of this will be much simpler once implimented...I still have to get a F2V board from mp3car
210HZ/volt with a maximum output voltage of 3.6V assuming you are powering it with the FB 5V.
