** NEW ** Fusion Control Centre's Accelerometer Version 2
This is the first in a new line of sensors that is supposed to be easier to use, more accurate, and more intuitive.
This accelerometer has slightly better accuracy than the current accelerometer but has a couple extra things that make it tremendously easier to use. One of the big things is that instead of jumpers to select the gain it is a simple slider switch. And ontop of that, when you slide it to an option a little LED lights up to let you know that setting is registered. The +X and +Y directions are printed on the board to make figuring out what axis it is on much easier. (+Z is directly out of the board). There will be (not tested yet) an auto-calibrate function that will help make each sensor as accurate as possible. After soldering and shipping and being manhandled the pressures may be different than when I calibrate them. By laying it on a relatively flat surface face up and pressing the button, it will auto-calibrate within a few seconds. That simple. Another little extra help is the labeling of the Fusion Brain sensor connections. It labels the positive, ground, and sensor output connector. It also labels which port is X, Y, and Z. This sensor can switch between +/- 6G or +/- 1.5G. If you never expect more than 1.5G, then you will get a better accuracy over that range by leaving it in 1.5G mode. For full scale, leave it in +/- 6G mode.
