How soon will this be available? Perhaps another beta unit? I am re-installing the dash in my boat this next week and I would like to install one of these while everything is torn apart.
TruckPC - gutted, being used for test setup
BoatPC - All in 1 in cuddy, N7 using VNC on dash, RR
    BlazerPC - Nexus 7 with Timur's USBROM

Hopefully soon, but not by next week. It takes over a week from when Mp3Car orders them to appear in the store.

I would like the beta users to have some stick time before they are "released".

    Fair enough,

What is the dimension and thread pattern on the mounting shaft?

I can prep the panel now and install later.

Hi there. Received mine today. Plugged it in and unfortunately received an error. Windows stated 'Device driver software was not successfully installed'.

This is on Windows 7, 64 bit. Let me know if there's any other details I can get for you.

What's under the HID device (Human Interface)?

Remember when you plug it in, the PC actually "sees" 2 different devices. One needs no drivers, the other does need drivers. What you are seeing looks normal for the configuration "device". You should see 1 (or 2 depending on OS) more devices appear under the HID class. If you expand the HID area, then unplug and plug the device you can see what you have with it there and not.

Gotta be careful with those pictures. I had something extremely important running and I was touching my flash drive and looked up to see that. Almost gave me a heart attack.

Just as an update, since the forums were down he contacted me via email. The volume control worked fine, the driver thing was for the configuration.

Here is the configuration program and drivers also: http://www.fusioncontrolcentre.com/F...onSoftware.rar
