I went and edited my multiimages again in configurator, and they didn't default to monitoring an old variable, saving and closing didn't change things either. I can't reproduce it.

is there something to the "pushed" state that has changed? I thought that the image I select in the pushed field is displayed when and only when the button is clicked/pushed.
I'm still having this problem. In the MDX program.

I was able to reproduce the problem, so I fixed it. I just uploaded the new exe and the update.xml so if you check for updates, you will get the latest configurator exe.

And yes the pushed state only is displayed while the mouse is down before it goes up. If you press down on it, but drag out of the button area so when the mouse-up gets registered it isnt in the button area anymore, it could cause it to stick.

Does it get stuck in the pushed state, or never show the pushed state?

It never shows the pushed state.
Good to know the updater works. It is like long range debugging with that thing!

I need to get another non-dev machine setup just for installer debugging and updater debugging.

So does it fix the function opening error as well as the multiimage errors?

As for the pushed state never showing, I will have to look at it more deeply to refresh myself how I coded that. I am pretty sure that code was a port from XNA. I think DIrectX has a method for checking mouse status, but I have been using the GDI mouse events with the DirectX draw events. Probably not ideal so events may be mismatched and lost... But I think it is DX that does joystick stuff, so it should have mouse/keyboard control. I will see what I can come up with.

Does the push state never ever show on any of them, or just some that it doesnt work on (like if it is stacked on another image or something).

I appreciate the feedback from everyone in this thread btw! Really helps to make things happen.

I can try to work in a 2nd cancel button too I suppose...
    You're missing the point.

    Click yes, to save

then instead of clicking "save", click "cancel". the program quits

It is not cancel though. It is "Do Not Save" and "Save" on the bottom. The top right is "Cancel".

If it was "Save" and "Cancel" on the bottom then how would you exit the program without saving your work? Made a mistake and dont want to save it, you wouldnt be able to because if you didnt save, the program wouldnt close...

YES!!!! It does not keep the graphic location of the nodes, but functionally it stayed in-tact. Awesome.

Nope, even in the sample skin, I've never been able to push a button and see the expected temporary image change. All buttons so far have had this problem for me, on 2 very different computers.

It's great to see the enthusiastic support. It's rare in my experience, to say the least. It's fun to stroll through the original thread and see just how far things have come. Phidgets eat your heart out.

But they do have servo and analog out ...

    arrrg!

in the dialog box where you type in a file name, if you click cancel, the program exits.

    this is not normal procedure

    does that help?

Oooooooooooohhh. Ok. I thought you meant the "would you like to save" screen. Where you type in the actual filename is very different.

Yes it should just cancel. Never really tried it though
