I finally found the coinstaller drivers...they installed and then said "they may not have worked"...

I reset the brain and now im getting somewhere. I ca get the lights to light up on the outputs, but my relay does not fire....any ideas?

Check this thread to see if it resolves your problem:

Edit: nevermind. I didn't see the last two posts.

Several people have expressed interest in reading the digital inputs. I added that bit of code to this sample application so others can see how to do that. The screenshot and links in the first post of this thread point to the current version.

    Caveats:
-Greenman and 2k1toaster have said the digital inputs are going away in the next version of the fusion brain. The analog inputs can read a digital signal.

-A simple SPST switch isn't good enough on these inputs. They need to be pulled to either ground or +5 volts, not just disconnected.

-When the digital inputs aren't pulled to ground and you turn on digital output 11, the inputs will all go high. When you turn off output 11, they go back to low. This shouldn't be an issue when something is plugged into the digital inputs.

This is probably just an issue on your particular board... there's something bridging the traces.

Yeah, could be. It's sitting on an anti-static bag. I tested this with a second FB while holding it in the air, and got similar results. However, I haven't actually tested this with anything more than using my finger to send some voltage from the +5 pin to the signal pin. (I'm sure you guys love to hear that.) It probably would work fine with a real input, I just haven't taken the time to wire up a switch to some pins.

Would be awesome if somebody could port to C# really interested in using the FB quite extensively in my system at the moment.

Mind if i had your code from digitial inputs into RRFusion? I just havent had the time to see how they work myself

Go ahead. I might recommend somebody test this new chunk of code thoroughly before getting too aggressive at coding anything. I think I got the right bits, and it acts fine to me, but I haven't done any serious testing with it.
