Is there a way to delete the commands I do not want yet? I want to delete the ones that do no start with the system name.
Could very well be a bug. I will check into it later tonight.

It should be in there and has been since the big update.
As long as there is a system name specified, that is the only thing that will be used to create the strings.
If you specify no system name, it adds a default name of "" (nothing).
If it is still not working for you, take a screenshot of the speech debug form so I can see what commands you are talking about.

Sorry I have been busy and have not taken a screen shot yet. I was just wondering if this could be the problem.
<speech enabled="true" global_politeness="true">
<!-- Begin System Speech Instances -->
<system_name></system_name>
<system_name>Computer</system_name>
<!-- End System Speech Instances -->
There are 2 system_name definitions. I am at work so cannot do much. But if I take out the blank one the program takes out the defined one.
You should be able to take out the blank one no problem, but that blank one is definately the problem.

Ok... I removed it. Then opened it again in the configurator. This is what it says now.

It took out the name. Such fun. I am still at work. So will try it at home and see what happens.

Ok I have it figured out. You have to first set up the speech parms that you want. then save it. Then go into the xml and add the system name. If you go back into speech setup. You will have to edit the xml with the name. Also turn off politeness until you have it working the way you want or you will want to kill it before you are done. But it is working. And will now not do any command unless you say the system name first. Oh and I am using it in XP with no problem. I think at one time someone said something about it only being tested in Vista.
Ok I know I am a pest.... But .... When you get time can you look at the Custom Query's. It is only saving the first one.
If nothing else, the politeness is a good way to test to see if the speech is working (kinda like pinging 127.0.0.1)
This is awesome!
