So basically... if your CarPC had an internet connection and the Fusion was reading engine data, acceleration forces, pressures etc, then you have a complete on-board racetrack telemetry system!
That's astounding!
, Well I test everything on Firefox. Only time IE ever gets spawned is when I check Fusion mail since gmail doesnt do simultaneous seperate sessions!
I guess I have some code I need to IE proof. I wish they would just use the adopted standards. They are called standards for a reason Microsoft!!!!

Yup but it is limited to the speed of the connection obviously.

Also I Macgyver'ed the remote webpages so now they will somewhat work with IE. They dont look nice though, IE doesnt display things properly, and I dont have the time or energy to try and fix things that arent broke because of nothing I did. If you dont use FireFox/Opera and want to use the remote control, then it will not look the way it is supposed to and might not work well, and will be slower because of the way IE uses DOM tables for some reason. 1 More reason to switch browsers, but looking at the web browsing log, some users are still with IE 4 and Windows 98 so... I dunno.![]()

Also I am working on the mobile section. So if you are on your phone trying to get to it, go to http://www.fusioncontrolcentre.com/t..._override=true
notice the "mobile_override=true" part.

You can preview the mobile version of the site in any browser by following this link: http://www.fusioncontrolcentre.com/t...ce_mobile=true
Any more info on that page do you think? It wont be ajax powered, so it wont refresh. Basically you will have to reload the page to see if any command has taken effect. I figured that control is best for a mobile where some pay for data per kb and have gprs connections of like 14.4kbps![]()

i havent looked at any source changes so bare with me on the unresearched engine, But i imagine that it wouldnt be too difficult to create a standalone app (or RR plugin) that would essentially handle the communication the same way the internet browser handles it? So if someone had net connection in the car they could use such software to control a home based fusion brain device?

Garage door opener interface for 50$, DEI eat your heart out. And there's so much more you could do too. That would be sweet.
Funny you should mention that. One of the reasons for this, is because we live so close to NORAD they do funny radio tests all the time. No garage door opener has any range up here because it is so jammed up. So I want to make an app that I can just get on my phone, push a button from anywhere and the door comes open.
No more driving up and down the driveway pushing the button hopeing for it to open, or calling the house if someone is there to open the door!

Yup wont be hard. It is a really easy interface, but the problem with the standalone is it will need to register both the incoming security code and then give out a unique security code for MDX to accept any commands from it.
A standalone program is possible though, and I could always take out some of the security I suppose.
