Is there any way to make it silent? Every so often the tray icon pops up a "checking for updates" message followed by a "no updates" message...gets pretty annoying after a while.
Seems like a once daily check would be sufficient and allow the user to configure what time to check for updates.

First time it auto-checked and found no updates, I exited the program. Problem solved
Then you don't get updates automatically. Plus, if you start up the configurator (and I'm sure MDX), the updater starts up again.
I want it to run, I just want to be able to configure when and how often it checks and stop the popups.

I will make it more silent. No message at all if no updates (and you didnt physically click "Update Now").

Now I have to go back to tying a string around my finger.
Would it not be pretty easy to have it read an XML file for when, how often to check and whether to notify or not?
