Per your suggestion, I have started a new thread in this sub forum. I absolutely intend to buy a fusion brain (or two, if one doesn't have enough ins/outs).
I intend to have a completely digital instrument cluster like the one that PPE sells. Unfortunately, that software isn't compatible with OBD-1 which I have. You mentioned that MDX could achieve this with the Fusion Brain. How would this work?

I also intend to have a completely digital climate control panel, which will also make use of the fusion brain. Will MDX permit me to make a custom interface from which I can operate my HVAC controls?

Yes. We're working through the details of one such climate control interface at this moment even in my Automatic Climate Control thread.

As for replicating guages and such, it is very possible. I would download the latest copy of MDX and take a peek. The example skin has some very good examples of engine interface guages. But the limits are really what you can do with graphics. There's a little bit of a learning curve, but it's not that hard. Once you get acquiated with the configuration utility software (which is a great graphics oriented piece of software) for building your skin, you can do A LOT!

Yup MDX actually has a xml based programming language built into it (That I made/developed

), so really it is limitless. Some things can be come very complicated depending on what you are wanting to do, but I am adding things to make it easier all the time.

The configurator does the "programming" graphically so it doesnt even look like programming really.

Also graphics of the programming can be anything you want. It is 100% skinnable. It is not just changing certain elements' looks, it can be anything from a blank state to an infinite number of various graphic models like guages, graphs, text, buttons and so on all on a single page or multiple pages.

So what can it do?... Everything but take over the world. Well it could if you made a robot based off the Fusion Brain. But I think that would be a PR nightmare.

I'll take over the world tomorrow. For now, I'll worry about my digital dash.

Come to think of it, having a digital dash will help me take over the world. Dunno how. Maybe people will think it's so cool that they'll surrender to me by default. Except those people that also have digital dashes. Then it'll be WW3.
