Quick question....anyone know how a 300 to 600 nm laser is measured for intensity. I know about photo res... but how would you measure the amount of light (visible or not) for a laser?

Should be fixed in a day or so depending how much it got corrupted. I am doing some more testing, and if worst comes to worst, I will rebuild it ground up with copy/pasting code between new classes...

Can you run the program in debug mode and see what error pops out? Is it a FileNotFoundException?

Ok, pretty sure i figured it out.

Also, because of all these little files that need to be included, I have gone from a small installer with seperate dependencies to a big installer with dependencies included, to now a small installer that downloads dependencies. Well this download isnt always successful, and can vary the files. So I am going back to a 280Mb installer with all the files you need. Bandwidth is cheap, and if you dont have high speed, then it will just take longer to download, too bad.

So I will get out a new installer hopefully tonight that will fix this. Then uninstall what you have, and run this and see if it works. I will update the thread once I get it up.

Update is available, and all newsletter subscribers received the information as well.

This update is tested on a Windows XP x86 Virtual Machine that started with just XP and SP2, nothing else. Installer did all the rest. If you dont have XP SP2, then you need to get at least that far.

A resistor could do it, if you overloaded it, but there's much more reliable means.

Try Skylighter.com for info, they have a kit to make your own igniters (electric matches). Need ~1A to fire them, voltage depends on how many igniters & length of run (2ohm/igniter+wire resistance). There's cheaper places to get the stuff, but skylighter seems to be well respected & they're great on giving out info.

It looks like the electric matches are the same thing I used for firing the old Estes model rockets when I was a kid.

close, but not quite. Same principle, different pyro agent. The rocket igniter will work, but they need more Amps/volts & are expensive.

Am i missing the new software? the updater found nothing & the downloadable still show as 18.5MB. I uninstalled the non-working version, but i still have .net3.5, DX9 & the drivers. will the updater add everything else after install?
NM got it working 4th of July is saved.
