I've been trying to get a simple, lightweight voice-recognition system for home automation going recently. I still want to move to an OS-independent solution so as to enable porting to, say, the RaspberryPi. For now, my code lives at the URL above, C# VisualStudio Express 2010, quick'n'dirty.
I admit I haven't used the standard FB software much (no carPC anymore) for a while, so this might be something standard in there. Either way, it might be a good springboard for any parties interested in a up-and-running-quick example. (I did make use of the virtual COM port instead of DLL imports just for simplicity and portability, so speed will not be your friend. Sorry.)
Includes voice recognition and a webserver API (example.com/api/channels/2/on) as I have thoughts for an app too.
