That was a photoshop cheat for illustration purposes. Although I seem to remember having it display like that in MapMonkey. I'm sure there is a way to do it. I'll have to have a look at MM and see how its done.

I had too with Mapmonkey but with freedrive works only if i draw a non transparent area.
