  • FS: Infill G4 double-DIN all-in-one carputer with SreetDeck interface. Awesome unit!

Hi everyone! I have an Infill G4 for sale. For those who aren't familiar with this product, it was an MP3CAR.com product that was developed a few years back. It's an "all-in-one" touch-screen unit that slides right into any double-DIN opening. You can either install with a universal double-DIN cage, or you can just get a double-DIN install kit like I did for my Ford Expedition. You can get a double-DIN install kit for double-DIN opening for pretty much any car, and it comes with the surrounding trim as well, which is why I opted to go this route.

It has an internal 44 watt x 4 amplifier, internal 40GB internal hard-drive, internal DVD/CD drive, GPS antenna with voice turn-by-turn navigation, 1 USB port in the front, 2 USB cables that plug into the rear of the unit (I ran my cables to my glove box without modification), audio/video breakout cable (subwoofer output, rear camera input, etc.), a remote control, supports Bluetooth hands-free calling (if you purchase the Bluetooth USB adapter), supports satellite radio, and has tons more features and capabilities.

This unit does not have built-in WiFi, but I just plug a USB WiFi adapter (you can pick one up for $30) and plug it into one of the USB cables and that works like a charm. I either connect to my home's WiFi if I'm out in the driveway, or I'll use my phone as a WiFi hotspot to broadcast the WiFi signal to the unit while I'm out on the road. It comes with Windows XP and the StreetDeck interface, though I'd probably recommend upgrading to something like CentraFuse which is a more up-to-date interface. The only thing wrong with the unit is remote control wire for an external amp no longer works. If you're not running an external aftermarket amp or nor factory amp in your car's system then there's nothing to worry about. Otherwise you can simply do like I did and use your car stereo harness's red ignition wire to kick on whatever amp you may have, so it's not a problem at all.

Here is the original link to the full specs on the unit:

Here are some pictures of it installed in my '98 Expedition:

It's truly an awesome unit and as simple to install as a regular car stereo. The only reason I'm getting rid of it is because I need to build something that supports an HDMI video/audio input. The unit is in great shape and ready to be installed! This unit previously retailed at $2,200.00 when it was still available. I'm asking $500 shipped (within the U.S., but will consider shipping outside of the U.S. at the additional costs involved). If you have any questions whatsoever please don't hesitate to PM me or post on here. Thanks!
