I have a datalux 10.4" lmv10r1 you can have for $125. This LMV10R has an LG LP104V1 panel in it. The controller card is an M1023 Rev. E.

It has a power supply, base and some neat little removable speakers mounted to the sides.

    Here is a picture:

100 nits. 640x480. I'm not sure of the color depth. I just picked this thing up Wednesday and havnt had time to mess with it much. I don't know what touchscreen drivers it uses yet either.

Tonight when I get home from running errands I will try the 3m touchscreen dirvers and stuff and take some pictures of it on if you want.

Those screens are only 6 bit!!!

Are there ANY 10'4"s with decent color depth?

I called them, they are actually 24 bit, something about 4 channel X 6 bit?
anyways, they seem like nice people to deal with! A friend of mine has one from them, and they have a real nice picture! very clear, and very deap!

Ouch... would you have to be in a closet to read it with those 100 nits?

Euclid its my personal opinion of course, 640x480 is a good resolution for a 10.4 inch screen. On 800 x 600 its going to start getting pretty hard to select things with your finger, and hard to read on smaller text.
