  • FS: TM-7002S 7" LCD

I bought this screen on eBay (link here) recently. When I tried powering it on, it flickered and died. It's probably something easy to fix, for you electronics-proficient people... but I'd rather not mess with it and screw it up. This LCD can potentially be working. I'm asking $115 shipped OBO for it. It comes with the cable, which includes (power, video1, video2). I can take pictures if needed.

I tried contacting the seller, but he told me that I needed a DC instead of AC power supply, which is crap... because I'm using an AC/DC adapter. He obviously is trying to evade the problem as much as he can. I put $115 OBO, so I'll take whatever I can get for it. Like I said, someone who knows their electronics may or may not find it useful.

i would file a non-receipt complaint with paypal if i were you (if you used paypal). The seller doesnt know what he is talking about. At least leave him - feedback

that does suck about the screen though. So what does the screen do now? Is it getting power? can you see the OSD? Is it still lit? Pics?

            Thanks

              I don't know if it's getting power.
No I can't see the OSD.
              No it's not lit.

I emailed the seller in a last-effort attempt to return it.

I'm not a electric engineer, and dont claim to be. But I dont see how AC or DC could affect the screen. Power is power right? Try using another power supply with the correct voltage.

Exactly. I'm using a power supply with the correct voltage. I emailed the seller and he says that he can't take it back.

Funny that the seller that sold you bum product, recently bought the Lilliput from the same eBay guy I just bought from (check his last feedback). Maybe he will join this forum asking for help?

You really should talk to paypal or ebay or both, if the seller is unresponsive.

file fruadulent complaints with ebay, paypal and fruad.com (or whatever the site is)
ebay has you insure for well over the amount you paid

The screen is 12v @ 0.7A... my converter is 12v @ 0.8A. I'm no expert or anything, but I don't think that would fry it. Supposedly, the screen can handle anywhere from 11v-15v.

I have no use for the screen, so if you want it, my email and Paypal address is le_t<AT>bellsouth.net.

as long as you have the voltage correct, remember the amperage rating on that psu means it will supply up to .8A so .7A would have been fine.
