Hi, Paul from Scotland here, I'm interested in buying the Mobo + 256meg ram, only one question, when testing how was speed in comparison to eg a Duron/PII 800? The CarPC will be used for the odd game of HL and a few DivX/Xvid movies (head they can be gutsy on CPU because of codec compression)

          Thanks,
          Paul

the 800 will play DivX fine, no dropped frames at all - I must admit it's not quite on par with an equal desktop cpu for raw power - would put it nearer a PII/500mhz

sorry missed your thing about Xvid - Xvid plays full framerate also,in my experience it has enough power for any movie you throw at it - it'll breeze through DVD's

                Hey again,

After looking into my finances and realising I'd need a rather expensive case/PSU etc in order to run the board I've had to use a friends old P500 celeron for my project instead of your wonderful epia!

Sorry for wasting your time but I thought I would be best to let you know I couldn't take you up on your good offer bud!

                Thanks,
                Paul
