  • FS: Virtually New Car Computer Parts (opus, xenarc, epia, ...)

All of these parts are virtually new, and have only been used about 20 hours or so. Most of that time was in my dining room while I installed it. Spent about 3 hours in the car. I'm selling because I just don't need a full blown carPC. All prices in $US.

    - 250W A/C Power Supply: $25 + ship
So you can run the system on your dining room table while you work on it

The following items have been sold:
    - OPUS 90W Power Supply (more info...): SOLD
Works well, was used in my car for only a few hours.

    - EPIA MII 12000 (more info...): SOLD
Great little board. Has connectors for almost everything you can think of.

    - 512M RAM (more info...): SOLD

    - IR Wireless keyboard (more info...): SOLD

    - Xenarc 700 TSV (more info...): SOLD
Works perfectly and is bright, not a single scratch on the screen. Only 2 months old.

My ebay ID is 'orever' if you want to check my feedbacks, etc.. US Postal money order or Paypal preferred. Shipping to USA only. Sorry, international shipping is just too troublesome.

I'm not parting out at the moment. If I decide to do it I'll let you know.

I'm willing to look into it. I've never shipped to UK before. Have any good resources about it?

Well, here's the math - to buy these parts new you have:

              Xenarc 700TSV: $419
              EPIA MII 12K: $214
              OPUS 90W: $162.50
512MB PC2100 RAM (decent quality, not crap generic): $64.00
              250W PSU: $30
              Wireless keyboard: $16.50
              Drive converter: $9.00

              TOTAL: $915.00
If you add to that shipping from every separate place that you can find rock bottom prices (chances are they all won't be the same place), you're close to $40 (I paid $42 total shipping from different places). That brings it up to $955. I'll put them all in one box, shipping should be less than $20, probably $10.

So that leaves us with $955 for new parts, and ~$860 for my only slightly used parts. That's $95 difference, pretty good in my book, %10 savings.

Again they are basically new. They never sat out in the car while it was cold/hot/humid, actually they never sat out in the car at all. The price of each individual part has not declined significantly since I bought them.

Having said all that, if you think my price is too high, make an offer. Simple as that

OK, I looked into shipping to the UK, and I'm sorry there's just too many costs and risks that go with it.
