  • FS: TV Wonder (tv tuner)

I have the original software and the sound cable that plugs into your line-in jack for this.

The software that comes with it DOES NOT WORK FOR XP! I have seen many of these cards returned because "they don't work with xp."

Software on the ATI website does work with XP.

I feel like I need to say that the software complains everytime you start it if you don't have an ATI Radeon video card. I used it for like a month then I bought another All-In-Wonder. This would be perfect for a linux-based DVR, but it does work with windows.

Now, if you were to turn on the tv software and leave it, it will record with no problems. If you schedule a recording and then turn off the TV software--and you don't have a Radeon card installed--a popup come up saying "Radeon drivers not installed." If you click okay, the TV software starts and it starts to record. Moral of the story is that it effectively won't record automatically, or at least I havent figured out how to do it.

ATI's evil plot to make me buy more ATI hardware worked

EDIT:It occurs to me that the latest revisions of ATI's software may fix the problem I was having.
