  • Loaded Carputer for sale...

i bought this to put together a gps system, but i went a different route, since nobody made an aux connector to work with my stock stereo...(04 f150)

    here is what it includes:

Lilliput 7" touch screen 16:9 monitor (very little use, just testing out the computer) it's in the box that it came in.

    Carputer:

    P4 2.4ghz processor
    512mb pc3200 ram
    160gb hard drive
    windows xp (needs key)
centrofouge (or whatever it's called) software
brand new, never used (installed, though) OPUS 150W DC-DC power supply i bought this on this site, just last week.
    DVD/cd rom
    really nice plexiglass/brushed aluminum case
    has several usb ports

    also comes with:

brand new XM pcr dongle (i heard they stopped making these because you could record with them...i don't know) it's brand new in the box, though. (xm sat radio through the computer)

brand new gps usb dongle (works with copilot8)

i also have several extension cables for the monitor & usb extensions...

there are some other things too, that i just can't think of right off hand...i'll take some pics tonight and post them up.

    $1,200.00

i'll get some up this evening...i apologize, i went to the colonial (golf), yesterday, and i got home a little late, and i was a little too tired to mess with the pic process.

No offense, but this is kinda iffy.

The guy builds a ~$1000 PC, and then scraps the project because of the stock radio?

Also.. he has no posts outside of this thread.

            Be careful.

i had to modify the case because the opus power supply didn't fit correctly...you can see on the picture in the back. the power supply is brand new, and i can take a pic of the receipt and post it up, if need be...i bought it from this website. i was sent to this site by a member of dfwstangs...i am a newbie, but i can assure you that i'm not trying to rip anyone off. i haven't posted, but i'm a firm believer in the "search" function, so i've done a lot of reading on this site. if you have any questions, feel free to ask, and i will answer them as best i can. if you want some specific pics, let me know, and i'll take some more.

also, the sirius box, in the very back, doesn't go with it...that is my sirius sat stuff for my current radio. the inverter, that is on top of the carputer, will go with it, though, as i have no use for it. it has a cigarette lighter plug, but you can hard wire it as well, to the posts on the back. the xm sat, gps dongle, etc...all go with it. the cables to the right and left (still in the packages) are monitor and usb extensions, btw.

                  thanks,

                  brad

a friend of mine actually put this thing together, so i need to get with him to find out all of the stuff that he used. i know just enough about computers to get me in trouble, so he had to do all of the dirty work...lol i'll get with him and find out what the motherboard is...i can give you measurements on the case, if you want... i'll take a quick pic of the inside of the case, and maybe you can tell something about it from there. btw, i'm sorry, but i'm not looking for any trades...thanks, though.
