  • cheap IR remote??

    I just purchased this remote and I was wondering if it was worth what I payed for it. So, how miuch would you be willing to pay for one of these??

    This is a review of the product:

        oh yeah, I bought one of those in june for $8US. They dont work with anything after windows 98 because of "lack of support for 16 bit drivers in advanced operating systems" or something like that

              So, I bought an IR one for $40AU... did I get ripped off.. I don't think I did becasue it is very usefull, please reply...

                whats the connection? serial? im sure you could nut it out if that was the case to work with mp3car software (if your writing your own software)...

                    I didnt think i was ever going to do this but.... Where did you get that remote from Skinny? and can you use it as a mouse?

                      lol, I have the upper hand, but not for long..
                      Yeah, you can use it as a trackball mouse thing, and I got it from cash converters, (when I was there looking for a sega gamegear (which they didn't have))

                        ive got the corded version works ok but nothing special

                        i havnt worked out how to program it or anything yet
                        as a matter of fact i dont even know where it is

                        i paied 10 bux for it from tandy

                        now that you guys reminded me i might try to find it would be better then the remote that im going to use or use both

                            since I am no programmer, and I have no systems running anything older than winME, I will also sell mine for $10 + shipping since that seems to be the going rate.
