  • FS: PTC-2134 Hand Held Win95 PC with Touch Screen

This is an interesting little find I picked up from a buddy. It's a Telxon PTC-2134 Touch Screen Hand Held PC. It runs Win95. There is no internal hard drive, instead, the operating system runs off a 192M Compact Flash Card! You can easily open it up and change out the Compact Flash Card, or there is an internal PCMCIA slot as well. There is also a dual PCMCIA slot on the top of the unit. It has 64M of RAM! The touch screen is black and white and the touch screen responds to a stylus or a fingernail, but not a light finger touch.

I have the battery and will include it, but it's dead. I can take a picture of it turned on if anyone wants. Included is the AC power adapter, The DC Power adapter I got with it is dead so I stole the case and wiring for something else.

$30 plus shipping to anyone interested.

No radio installed. I'm not sure if the antenna is compatable with 802.11b but the connector is loose inside the case.

The radio card isn't in it. I got it from a friend of mine in VA, he got it to use for a robotics project, but he ended up just using an AVR board.
