  • Possibly FS: 40x2 VFD

    I am probably going to sell my 40x2 Noritake VFD, it is a parallel or serial, i am going to includet he parallel cable i made for it, a pic and info is available at http://www.mp3car.com/usersites/tom/vfd it works fine, i am just changing my mp3 player plans. i would like $50 + $5 for shipping. Somewhat negotiable. If you want more info, e-mail me.

          I found it really quite easy to wire using crimp connectors.

                      thanks for trying, but not interested if cant use it with serial.

                      did you try it with a program like lcdcentre 2.0 where you can set it to serial and baud rate? were you trying it with a parrallel software plugin/program?

                      guess you need one of those expensive converters

                          it can do serial...

                          the screen can do serial, but it does require one of the special noritake cables. Which you can find on there website. I have no idea of costs...
