  • wtb: 802.11 device, usb or PCI

Gents, i need an inexpensive wireless 802.11 device, preferably G and USB. Have anything you are looking to dump?
Take my advice: Do not try to build a system that includes EVERY feature. Start with the basics, build it to a bug free state, and THEN add on.

As for Wifi ... keep a sharp eye on the sale ads.
A few weeks ago CompUSA ran a deal for 802.11g stuff.
The offered 802.11g Router/Firewall, USB, PCI or cardbus .. each one for $4.00 each.
Needless to say, too good to pass up.
Some may show up on eBay for about $10 or so, just watch!
                Good luck.

whoooaaa....did i seriously miss another Midnight Madness?????? I love those things! Haha, one time, my firend gave me $60 for DVDs, and i went and walked up with 300 DVD+Rs and DVD-R's in jewel cases, among things...we walked out with these HUGE bags, everyone looking at us, and it took up my WHOLE TRUNK with the sound system in there! The most entertianing time was wehn it was at like $385 for all the DVDs adn she hit the button and for a good 3 seconds you sw the computer apply the savings as fast as it cound, then the total was like $65 something, Still havent' used a DVD yet though...

Ah midnight madness, an adventure in splurging.
