  • FS: NiteMax night vision video camera parts

Due to the frequent requests for information regarding NiteMax parts and the length of the previous monster thread that has been going on for months, I am starting this new thread where I can edit the first post or two with current price and availability. My goal is to provide a one-stop source of information for anyone interested in getting this stuff.

Questions regarding "what is" and "how to" belong in one of the couple other threads running in General Hardware or Hardware Development.

If you have NiteMax parts you are interested in selling or trading to other members, feel free to post here. It is not my goal to monopolize the NiteMax market here -- only to free myself of a sizable pile of surplus parts I was fortunate enough to acquire.

It continues to be my pleasure to serve the members of mp3car.com by providing inexpensive goodies to experiment with, along with as much technicial support as I am able find time for!

    News and General Information

General information regarding my ability to ship your purchase in a timely manner and other issues.

This is only a hobby and it isn't going to make me rich -- the goal here is to do something interesting and have fun doing it! Among other things, I work full-time and recently changed jobs. My wife and I had a baby born prematurely in December and she still has some lingering medical complications. Life is slowly returning to normal now that the newest kid is six Months old and actually sleeping at night like a real human-being.

I continue to be disappointed at my own ability to fill orders quickly, but I will always do my best. Please find a friendly way to let me know when I'm letting you down and I'll do my best to make you happy -- we'll both benefit!

How much would this set me back if shipped to Belgium ?

I tried to buy a complete Nitemax 'classic' through e-bay, but no chance.

After I inquired about shipping costs ($ 70,- ) suddenly all avalable items were retracted. "Are all sold" or "Minimum not met", was the message.

So: I want to buy a nitemax, even if I have to assemble the darn thing myself !

I'm an NCO in the Belgian Air Force with a degree in Electronics, Radio and Radar technology. I think it must not be completely out of my competence.

But I need the goods, so what price are you asking me to ship me the whole lot of mentionned goodies you've got lying around to Belgium ?

And if you could put in a Car DC/DC 12V regulated power supply (Cigarette lighter adaptor) I would be glad to pay for that one as well.

Edit: throw in a "$10 ea. LCD half of the NiteMax in grey plastic housing." and four of those "3 for $1 Fifteen Element NiteMax IR Array" as well.

I reserve the right to refuse service to anyone unless I'm convinced you will complete the transaction in a fair and friendly manner.

Shipping anything outside of the USA increases my risk of being cheated or ripped off. In these circumstances, I insist on being extra careful.

Please send me a Private Message and we will discuss your request and find a solution that will work for both of us.

                Thanks...

As one of Mark's clients outside the borders of US I must say that Mark has been nothing but helpful and did go out of his way to send me some goodies that I needed and to work a way of completing the transagtion that suited both of us. Best online buying experience so far. Buy in confidence from him. Thanks again Mark.

                        Hi Mark !

The Nitemax Mark sold me has been clutched against my windshield for a couple of months now. This to much envy of some friends of mine, who want one also.

Are there still enough bits and pieces left for you to assemble a working unit ?
If so, could you tell me what type it's going to be, and how much it will set them back ?

I had the good fortune to recently purchase another small lot of NiteMax cameras. The total cost of this latest purchase was lower than last time, but the resulting cost per camera is higher. It will be necessary for me to be more careful about prices and the prices will need to be somewhat higher than they were before.

Special pricing for forum members in good standing, expect to see these on eBay for higher!

                            - Grey or silver colored Standard NiteMax units are $50 including a battery, battery charger and a 12mm f/1.2 lens. (B&W CCD, No 2x Zoom) Black is available by special request -- while supplies last.

                            - Grey colored Standard NiteMax bare units (without lens, battery or charger) are $30. Silver is available by special request -- while supplies last.

                            - Black Ultra NiteMax (includes 2x Zoom) with battery, charger and a 12mm f/1.2 lens are $70. These include your choice of Color or B&W CCD installed and I'll throw in an extra CCD Camera Board opposite to the one installed so you'll have one of each.

                            - If your purchase totals $100 or more, I'll include automobile cigarette lighter adapters for each NiteMax you've ordered for no additional charge.

                            - Additional CCD Camera Boards and various NiteMax internal parts are generally still available by special request.

The actual cost of shipping to your location via USPS Priority Mail or USPS Global Priority Mail will be added to the total. Payment accepted by PayPal. Please PM for details.

I need a nice backup camera, I have a lifted truck so the wider the lens picture the better. What can you do for me? I may take two, let me know what you suggest.
