    that's an ureal price,

the cheapest touch screen monitor if you lucky on ebay would be at least $130.00

    Hard Drive: $20.00
    RAM: 50.00

    Barebone amd system $90.00
    Power Supply $119.00

plus custom case, and other accessories, no way you can get one for such price

    $400 at least

I should re-phrase, I have a TS monitor and mouse/keyboard. I can even use my own HD and operating system.

I am just looking for something small, used or new in or out of a case with a power supply for a 12v system. I would like to stay away from the inverters.

        Thanks!

Thanks on the dell laptop but I already have LS400 wich is not holding up so well. It also is acting very flakey with the touch screens.

          Thanks!

eBay, IBM Netvista SSF, about $100 Dollars Max, that will get you a PIII 1GHZ PC, may need to upgrade the RAM/HDD/CD/Graphics/USB and buy an Opus 120 and your Set to Go. You could do it easly for 300 now,

            Excellient and very stable system,

I have a Dell SX270 II was just about to sell!! It has a 2.4 P4, 512MB, and can only use a 2.5" HDD. It's a very small computer at about 9"x9"x3"...but you can google it and find most of it's specs. You can get them on ebay for around $300 but I'm just asking for $225 shipped since you don't need the HDD and I don't have the power brick either.

It is power hungry...so I'm using the DSATX to power everything (220w). You can buy that in the store here (which is where I got mine). I'd sell you mine, but I want to keep it because I'm in the process of changing things out...and that's not something I'm not swapping out.

It's a great computer, but my only issue is the heat down here in GA. In the summer afternoons, I have to wait for the AC to cool the cabin down for a couple minutes. To me, anything less than instant on is too long.

PM me if you have any questions or want to buy.

I don't have that problem. Pretty fast boot and shutdown.
Power Hungry?...I don't know. But I use the pure sine power inverter route.

Yeah, it is pretty quick. But when it's starting up, it's using the full 150 watts for a good few seconds. So if you're powering anything else with the same power supply, you need something more than the 160w M2-ATX...which basically leaves the DSATX (which works like a charm). I guess that's the price you pay for a power hungry P4.
