  • Annoying Internet Lingo

I am sick of reading Topics that consist of
    "I N33d Help Cuz, LOL :-)"
Is there anyway we can put in a filter to keep this crap out? I am really annoyed when I'm trying to read an interesting thread, and somebody is writing in Script Kiddie.

A lot of people think bad grammer and purposeful mispellings make them cool. That's fine. They're free to think that. But I know that I pay much less attention to a post if it is written carelessly. I don't think that filtering this stuff out is a good idea, as it sort of infringes on free speech/free will. These people will grow up when they realise that half the board is ignoring them.

Not to deliberately be a dick or anything but is "Script Kiddie" not a term coined from the internet. I completely understand what you are going after here about 1337 [email protected] But seriously internet lingo has its place and that would be on the internet which this board is a part of... the reason most of the abbreviations come about are because it takes too long to type out "rolling on the floor laughing" when you can just say ROFL. you know. And I don't see too much of this as topic headings anyways. Just my 2 cents for what they are worth.
