    What do you guys think?

That way we don't fill up OT as much..

We can make it like OT where posts don't count...

    Peace,

        It was just a suggestion....

I do see quite a couple (Even I've posted one or two) every once in a while. That way, OT doesn't get crowded with stupid ****...

        Peace,

I like the idea. I have had a question or two that I wanted to ask but didn't. Asking here instead of in another forum is kind of like asking your friends for help.

            Exctly....

Why should someone who has been here a while (2-3 years) have to go to another forum, ask his question, be flamed and called a newb, when the nice peeps here could probably help out w/o all the headache...

            Peace,

i agree. I've been working on computers for 17 years but theres always some little mundane issue or problem i try to work thru.. sometimes leading to a bigger prob lol. Somewhere i can just throw a quick question out would be great.

I actually like the idea of a "helpdesk" thread. I'm in the same boat as Sonicxtacy02, where I could probably help out a bit as well as ask a question without fear of being flamed. I think that posts should count though, cuz IMHO it *is* meaningful information.

Just my $.02, which in today's economy is worth about -$5...

i agree, i dont know much about car pcs but i sure know computers. since this is a knowledge-based site we can cover other aspects of the carpc then fabwork and audio, video.

The thing is if u have a pc tech section your should have a car tech section..

                      just my 2 cents

Sometimes you can't find the answer in another forum.

I usually my problem before I post it. I can't always find a solution that way...

                          Peace,

ah more comp newbies to the site.
more post in gen hardware because their question are not being answerd in "help desK" (or the just post in there anyways and double post).

                            im kinda 50/50 about it.
