lots of hard trance or progressive... anything with a nice fast beat.

since my player is not done yet, i usually have a cd in the deck for at least 4 days before i yank it out... unless its a road trip

Trance, punk, celtic, classic rock and j-pop.

I have a few playlists that I tend to abuse

I like a broad range of music, and I like having it mixed together. Variety makes me happy.

      my current favs are:
Salva Nos - Noir sound track
Let me be with you - Chobits sound track
Bring me to Life - Evanescense
Helplessly Hoping - Crosby Stills & Nash

Actually I haven't had much time for music.. I'm not sure how much I've listened to besides these lately

mp3car system is currently FUBAR and finances do not allow for a correction of that situation

Hmm, J-Pop, thats one of the gerenes that I've never really really been able to get into. some have quite catch beats or melodys, but then the singing begins (and sure, some of the theme songs to some of the anime out there is quite good). At this point, the most "abused" songs on my player are either the stuff I just put on (electronic/rock/pop) or some aging essential mixes.

Hey Felix! I took German for 5 years in high school (hoch schule- see i remember some german ). During that time we didn't really hear of any german artists other than Ramstein. However when we watched a video one time we saw this goofy group called 'die fantastischen vier'. Are they still around? and what on earth did they 'group' themselves as? were they rock/rap/techno? I think it was early 1990's stuff.

I used to listen to a German punk band called Wizzo ... they were really light and sometimes damned funny. I never really studied german so I didn't understand all of it, but I knew enough that when I was listening to "Tod im freibad" and it was a get up and going bouncy song.. there was something clever going on

Dashboard and Fuel...two good bands...when is Fuel going to put out a new record? Anyhow, I see a lot of people are into the trance. I haven't ever really gotten into that part of the music industry. And in all honesty I don't know what would be considered 'trance'. Would the group orbital be labeled as trance? I think I might have one track by that group but I will have to dig to find it...and what would Massive Attack be labeled under?
