  • In Need of Some Thoughts On Something

Ok to make a long story short I was looking for a truck to haul to a 5th wheel rv across town and I was talking with a buddy who owns a body shop if he knew/had anything to help me out since he owed me some cash. He was like "No, but I got a travel trailer I'll sell instead and I know your truck will haul it."

I was curious. So we went to the yard in the back of his shop and there she was an ugly 70's-80's travel trailer... I was ok the outside could get by with a wash and a really good wax... Then I opened the door... Good god... The inside needs to be gutted out and redone. So asked how much, He was like 700 bucks. I was like, no way, but I'll trade you a 1985 Chevette. He said ok. Then I said hang on let me talk to my girl friend since I live with her I do need to talk to her about it first. So we talked and she said go ahead.

So I'm asking yall. Would you trade a 1985 Chevette 4 door hatchback for a 70's-80's 24 foot travel trailer? Both are pos. Both need work. Just one is slightly bigger than the other and one cant move with help or grace of god.

as long as you have the time to redo the trailer, i think that it would be a good trade--with some careful shopping, you should be able to completely replace the interior of the trailer with some second hand cabinets(if someone nearby is remodeling, they could be cheap or free), and some new plywood.

Aight I've made up my mind. I'm gonna get the travel trailer. Now I've got to come up with a plan... Hmm since this is bigger than a car does that mean I have to build a bigger computer? or 4 carputers? Hmm I see its already starting...
