  • Windows 98 Help Anyone? :)

I have a machine with Win98 on it, that is probably about to die. Only reason I use it is because it is hooked up to a laser and the only printer driver is installed on that hard drive. Well I want to get that inf file out of there, but I cannot find it for the life of me. I cant find it in the regular windows directories... Did 98 allow you to link drivers to non-system folders or something?!

Is there a way in 98 to open the drivers folder like there is in XP and up? Otherwise, where in the registry does 98 store its device to driver relations, and is this information in there somewhere?

What printer is it? Why can't you just download the driver from the manufacturer's website?

It is a printer driver, but to a laser. Not a laser printer as in using toner, but a laser as in a 30W Co2 laser for vector cutting and rastering.

It a Meistergram EL100, made in the 90's and the company has since been bought out or went under.
