  • Need old software...PDQComm

I need PDQComm v3.2. If you have it, I will buy it off you. If any of you have some ideas on where to get it, that'd be great. Ive been in contact with the coder and distributing companies. During the buyouts, it was lost and never found since it's 16 bit and waaay outdated for today's world. Nevertheless, I NEED it. Any help is greatly appreciated...

    Thanks,

    PoBoy

Yeah, Ive found those sites, but their emails are dead. Ive completely exhausted a google search for pdqComm as well as emailed every person who's resume popped up with experience with pdqComm. Hopefully something will turn up. So far 9 out of 10 email address no longer exist. Lesson: keep your email addresses for life

Here is why I cant just kazzaa or whatever:
I actually need a full copy with license included otherwise we'll face a lawsuit. Anyway, if yall know of any good places to shop for old software, let me know!

      Thanks!

Hehe, I guess I should be more specific. While that website says they have exactly what I am looking for, that page is about 7 years old and the company no longer has it (ive called ). Like i said above, Ive exhausted all 350 google pages for PDQComm. No luck. All of the sites that pop-up with PDQComm are 1997 and older.

So what exactly am I asking for? I was wondering if for some odd reason someone here had a copy of it OR knows of good places to find old software (ie. ebay) or a forum where LOTS of old VB programmers hang out.

          Thanks,

          PoBoy

Excuse my ignorance, but why do you *need* this particular software? There aren't others that are easier to get that do the same thing?

            I found this usenet post:

            http://groups.google.gm/groups?hl=en...0ix.netcom.com

which mentions that MicroHelp MHCOMM has "98% of the functionality" of PDQComm and it was easily found:

Long story short. We are migrating to a new vendor. Old vendor wont give up PDQComm. 1000s of our clients use our software that was developed with PDQComm. New vendor must have PDQComm inorder to communicate with clients. We are phasing out the PDQComm software, but it will be over a year and half time period, so we still have to carry its compatibilities...Thus, we need PDQComm

Update: Ive found a copy, but would like a second one. So if ya'll find one. $$$$ in your pocket.

Yeah, the kid's pretty goofy. I chopped it down from this longer gif:
