  • Tach wire, 2002 Ranger

Hi, I've got a problem. I'm installing an audiovox css100 Cruise Control in my 2002 Ford Ranger. I can't seem to find the tachometer wire to connect the CC to(Blue wire on CC). My local autoparts store tells me the chiltons manual is not yet available for the 02 Ranger (after 2.5 years?), anyway any help would be appreciated. BTW I've googled and googled for this and I'm starting to pull what hair I have out.

A lot of cars have tach wires that can be found at the distributor.

Thanks Bass that did the trick, its up and running great now. Ecar I didn't even think about looking on ebay for one of those :P I think I'm going to buy one for future work. lgbr, My truck has a coil pack (I think its called) so it's distributorless which is what led to a lot of my problems to begin with lol. Thanks again for the help all.
