Better people die everyday but I don't see you crying about it.

That's not a nice thing to say about someone who died.

I think the man was teased. He had all this talent, and all this money, and it became useless to him.

No. I think he had extremely limited control over his arms (maybe, that might be false)

                    From what I can remember...

There was George Reeve that played Superman in the 50's B&W series
Christopher Reeves in 1978 movie and sequels
Dean Cain for the 90's series "Lois and Clark"
Tom Welling playing Clark Kent (superman-soon-to-be) in "Smallville"
With "Superman Returns" the rumor is Jim Caviezel (a.k.a. Jesus Christ) will play Superman
and countless animated series with different voices.

if you want to count it, Shaquille O'Neal in the movie "Steel" which was a derivitive of Superman.

That's all I can remember at the moment.

                          same link as above

Why should people with disabilities be featured any more sympathetically than people without disabilities? If his goal is to live a normal life, how normal could his life be if all his future roles were "sympathetic"? Oh look, here comes the cripple, everyone act sympathetic regardless of the plot, because real life cripples never experience conflict or drama. If I were in a wheel chair, I'd want an *** kicking role where I would spend the entire movie running over people's fingers and tossing old ladies off of cliffs, not some suck-*** sissy role where I'd sit around and cry like a pussy.
I hate to admit it, but I was LMFAO to that fatality pic.
                          they made me laugh

I wish to not rant about Christopher Reeves here, but I will just put out that everybody should think of all the money the man had, and think of all the organizations that he did or didn't support BEFORE his accident. Sure he was a great actor, and he was superman, but he definately was not a super man. There will be a complete rant on my site in the near future.
