  • Opus Solutions Hacked - Anyone Else Seen This

    I just went on opussolutions.com site and was greeted by this screen. I hope it was not someone in this board.

    looks like they are running a dedicated server with cpanel running. Telnet and a ancient version of openssh running. Which leads me to believe its a old version of RH running. My guess is they got in via telnet

                    i was mad when i got hacked.... http://www.planetunreal.com/roar it was our message boards. or when http://www.damitclan.com/yabb got hacked... stupid people... maximusclan.com never got hacked.. but we did lose $$ and had to shut it down. now im stuck with this domain for another 3 years....

                            i got out of the about 3 years ago. It has really started to go downhill. Most companies sell the fear of being hacked and their customer DB sold to millions of other hackers in order to charge $400 an hour for consulting work. I didn't want to be in the business of selling fear anymore

                              well that is an accurate picture of the scene 3 years ago, at that time I was a part owner of a security startup... we were seriously in the business of selling fear to small businesses... that eventually died off an the market dried up now you have savvy customers seeking solid products.
