  • DIY Leather (or fake leather) seats

I was wondering if anyone new of any good guides that go through step by step making your seats leather instead of your old fabric ones. I remember seeing one a while ago and it showed them having to take off the old fabric, etc, but google isn't pulling through for me.

I'm not sure what you looking for, but check this link out.

You can purchase leather seat covers for almost any car. I also believe they have instructions as well.

Wow, that's pretty expensive for a guy like me. But what I was looking for is a guide where you just buy your own leather fabric (or pleather) and do it all youself.

I did a Katzkin install on my car, I got the leather off eBay for about $200.

Here is a link to my install: http://www.subaruforester.com/viewtopic.php?t=1412

Not that much info on there, I did do a basic write up but this probably only help you if you have a subaru.

You just have to make a "How-to" on this one as well...

I have katskin also in my 2004 Tiburon. I highly reccommend them, just don't pay for them to install it, it costs about $500 more depending on the size of your car. I got two tone leather seat covers for $700. The hog rings are a PITA but it wasn't that bad to install.

I thought all 2004 Tiburons come standard with leather seats...
