    Out of curiosity, how fast is the normal computers vga/svga output? how much data is tranfered a second?

    bascily what im getting at is how much data neds to be tranfered (wirelessly) to get a clean (lets say 480p HDTV) signal

    Really, its not a matter of data as the VGA signal is analog. So you need to find out the bandwidth required. I assume that you are trying to homebrew a wireless video link, but keep in mind that VGA uses 5 seperate signals (R G B Hs &Vs) so you are going to need 5 transmitters and 5 recievers all on seperate frequencies (sp?) all of witch need to have their operating ranges far enough appart so as to avoid cross talk....

    If this made no sense at all, I'm sorry. I just got of a 12 hour night shift.
