I have one of those spiffy VIA boards. And I found a boot from lan option. I have to give this a try. how does it work?

Depends on what you want to do with it, do you want to install an OS or use your PC as a terminal client?

never planned on using my CarPC as a terminal, so I disabled the feature in bios. I totally removed it which let me have more space on the chip for the custom splash screen in place of the VIA original splashscreen..

basically, you have it hooked up to a lan ( network cable ) (phone line ) and when it is sleep mode, it " Wakes up " when it sences a network access to it ( network hardware keeps powered up ) ...

                  I could be wrong.
