  • Help with rims

I just bought a black '98 Integra (non-vtec). Right now it has 14" rims which must be replaced, but I don't know anything about rims. I've been trying to find some information online, but I really haven't anything that explains everything in detail. Anyway, I don't want to rice out the car, just make it a little hotter. I had 15" or 16" rims in mind and I was looking for GSR rims on ebay, which I think(?) will fit, but I didn't see any that were 16". Should I go with 15" or 16" rims? I'm leaning more toward 16", but I haven't found any that look stock. And I don't even know what other measurments I should take into account either. Could someone please explain this to me, or point in me in the right direction?

I'm looking for tires too, btw.

Use this calculator to make sure you get the right size tires for your new rims:
          http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html
You want to have the same diameter so that your speedo is not all screwed up.
Go to the integra boards and find out what offset you should be looking for. That will make a big difference in your selection of rims. Once you find the right offset, you will just have to decide on style and size. I say go as big as you can afford/fit. Then you won't be dissappointed later.
Here are the rims I have on my Altima:

19" Kyowa Racing KR206's with 235/35/19 Falken Azenis tires

            WHEELS!!! THEY ARE CALLED WHEELS!!!!!

if it's a 2-piece, and a TRUE 2-piece wheel at that, THEN and only then is it called a RIM....and then, the only thing that you can call a RIM is the outter part of the wheel.....the ACTUAL RIM....

            hehehehe

sorry, just a pet peeve of mine......

yeah - N.O.S. is a brand name - and it's not pronounced GNAWSSSSSSSSSSSSS

                      It's N. O. S. (kno o es) - stands for Nitrous Oxide Systems

That's ok... most of us in the States call tissue "Kleenex".
